Who is Running Your Show? Part 1

Are you in control of your life?

Unless you’re in the 1% of the population who already has the life they want, you’re likely not in control of your life.

I know you’d like to think you’re in control but let me ask you a couple of questions and your answers will give you some valuable clues.

Do you find yourself being bounced around like a ball bearing in a pinball machine? What I mean by that is…do the situations and circumstances of life ever throw you off track?

Do you ever start out having a good day and then something happens that you feel is beyond your control and suddenly your day goes from good to not so good?

We all experience things that seem to be out of our control. Things happen that can sometimes knock us off course and that’s just a part of life.

What I’d like you to look at is, when those things happen, how do you deal with it? How does it affect your day, your attitude, your thoughts and how you feel about yourself and your life?

Do these events make you want to just throw your hands in the air and give up?

Do the events in your life ever make you question yourself and your path in life? If you answered yes, again your not alone. I’ve been there and know what it’s like to never seem to be able to make any kind of head way.

Every time I’d start something that had the potential of being amazing, life would throw a wrench in my plans and knock me off track.

After time, as this  happens over and over again, it’s easy to start questioning yourself. I know I use to wonder why I could never make any headway while other people around me were making amazing progress in their lives?

I had friends that it seemed like everything they touched turned to gold. All the while I was struggling to just make ends meet.

I couldn’t figure out what was going on and why my results were always different than theirs. I was working just as hard if not harder than they were.

I was as good a person as they were. I was just as smart as they were. Yet every time I would have an idea and start something, a series of circumstances, seemingly out of my control would derail my plans and my self worth all with those plans.

I began to wonder if I just wasn’t meant to have the success I thought I should have. I wondered if I was meant to live my life as just another worker bee.

Even though as a kid, I saw myself growing up to have massive success in everything I did. I began to feel less than worthy of the success I so badly desired.

It doesn’t happen overnight! It’s a cumulative affect that takes it’s toll slowly over time.

You try different things and different approaches and always wind up right back at where you started. You get an idea and get all pumped up about it. Then maybe you even take some kind of action but nothing ever comes of it.

If any of this sounds familiar, I have good news for you.

You don’t have to live the rest of your life like this. You are not a failure and you are not stuck living the life you have. You can change your life and you can start today.

It may seem like a daunting task but it really isn’t. It’s actually fairly easy to do.

Before you can actually start the process of making the changes you want in your life, you have to actually understand what’s going on and who is control of your life.

Believe it or not, it hasn’t been you up till now. It’s been this hidden force that has been running your show, keeping you stuck and preventing you from enjoying the life you’ve been given.

That hidden force has had control most of your life but it’s so subtle that you never realize it’s even there, let alone in control.

You never stop to think about it or look at it. You are so use to it just being the way it is, you don’t even realize that you have the power to take that control back.

It’s time to meet the boss, the one that’s been running your show and keeping you from having and doing what you were meant to have and do in your life.

We’ll meet this subtle controller and look at how he/she has managed to block your progress all this time.

Once you have an understanding of how your controller operates, we’ll learn how to fire the boss that has done a lousy job of running you.

We’ll get rid of him/her and give you the promotion you need and deserve, so you can start to run your life rather than giving up control to a controller that doesn’t want you to change.

Are you ready to meet the controller of your life, up till now?

If so, keep an eye out for part 2 of this series that will be posted tomorrow.

      Hi John and Jackie,

You guessed it my friends! It’s the ego loud and clear, always working to keep you safe but in disguise, it’s keeping you stuck right where you are, even when that’s not where you want to be.

      Thanks for your comment,
      Dale

Dale, that’s a terrible thing to do. I have to wait until tomorrow to find out the answer? Oh dear. I’m sure it will be worth the wait, knowing you.
